“A rollicking story that is filled with
romance between unlikely but
delightful people, humor (some of
it a little dark), and adventure.
Upbeat, funny and entertaining.”
– Boca Raton News

“Every so often you pick up a book
that seems so familiar that you
think you’ve read it before.
Sometimes it’s because the book
harks back to a classic writer of
the past, in the case of “Last Call”,
Damon Runyon, with a touch of
Jerome K Jerome.

"How a bunch of amateurs track
down and kidnap the first of the
crooks, what they do when he dies
of natural (sort of) causes after a
little mild torture, and what
happens next forms the last part of
this very entertaining story.

You will find Nathan and Terri and
most of the other characters in
this book very likeable, to the
point that you can see yourself
going along with their hare-
brained scheme if given the
chance.”

“LAST CALL is a story of friendship
and how money can strain such
things, poignant and highly
recommended”

“A not to be missed funny,
poignant novel. JD Seamus has
written a wonderful read. We want
more. Please don’t make this the
LAST CALL.”

“A fast, ‘can’t put it down’ book.
Author JD Seamus entertains
throughout. A book everyone
should read.”

“The perverse humor set in gray
zones between absolute right and
wrong mixed with New York
perspective and black humor
make this book a real treat.”
-Monsters and Critics.com

“Seamus takes readers on a roller
coaster ride of emotions in Last
Call where he skillfully combines a
crime mystery with adventure and
a touch of humor.”
– Fresh Fiction

''I really enjoyed this story and
loved the characters. There is
much to admire about them, even
though they are all very flawed
and often full of mistakes. I’m glad
I met the crowd at Jimmie’s.”

“A great read and once began
demands to be finished.”

“This is a fun read and the best
I’ve read in a while. Don’t wait for
Last Call-start this one at Happy

WOW! THIS SEAMUS GUY MUST BE GOOD!
REVIEWS
Author JD Seamus' working
knowledge of retail finance,
e-commerce, and venture capital
was something he drew upon to
create his characters in his debut
novel, Last Call.

Last Call is a mix of dark humor,
wit, and courage. The characters
are deftly drawn with honesty in
details that reveal these people as
human and often hobbled by their
own flaws. This book is cleverly
written, often feeling like a merge
of  Cheers and The Sopranos. The
closing chapters, especially, could
have been pulled directly from one
of the whack jobs by Tony Soprano
and his crew. But it wouldn't have
worked if JD Seamus hadn't
painted his characters so well!

Seamus is busy at work on The
Price of Retribution, a sequel to
Last Call. Readers will want to grab
that one when it comes out.
